In ongoing initiatives to achieve the 20th AMECEA Plenary which will take place in Tanzania from the 10th to 18th July 2022, the faithful and people of good will have been asked to continue contributing financially towards the plenary preparations.
The remark was made by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference’s Deputy Secretary General Rev. Fr. Chesco Msaga at a preparatory meeting held at TEC, chaired by Bishop Eusebius Nzigilwa.
“I kindly request for the promotion of contribution campaign to continue through our media including radio, television, our newspapers and social media and other platforms so that the faithful may continue to contribute more through the mobile phone through the Lipa namba provided where the money will be received directly into the TEC account – AMECEA 2022,” He emphasized.
Apart from the contribution campaign, Rev. Fr. Chesco also said that other preparations for the plenary are going on well, including the renovation of buildings which have so far reached 70 percent.
